Anyone working with or around equipment within the recycling industry would benefit from RIPOTS training.

The recycling environment can be more hazardous and challenging than many other industries.   Ferrous & non ferrous metals, paper, electrical waste all need to be identified and handled appropriately and thats how RIPOTS can help.

RIPOTS training covers:

•    Basic skills and knowledge required for safe operation

•    Specific training to protect against risk within the recycling industry

•    Familiarisation when introducing new equipment

RIPOTS training starts by improving standards and reducing risk, either when taking on new staff or retraining existing staff.

The scheme provides a means of ensuring that operators of plant and machinery used within the recycling industry are provided with adequate training and can operate safely and efficiently.

On completion the trainee will be assessed and where successful,  will be issued with a certificate and an ID card to meet H & S legislative requirements.
